Description
This is a must for practitioners working with complex cases or anyone who wishes to gain more knowledge in relation to Paranoid Schizophrenia or personality disorders in general.
A thorough examination of the differences and similarities between people with a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia or personality disorder and people without will take place. This will leave practitioners equipped to identify these traits as they arise in day to day practice. Furthermore, practitioners will be provided with techniques and interventions to utilise.
The event will also provide an in depth recap on attachment theory and its relevance to therapy, day to day relationships, personality disorders and paranoid schizophrenia.
Lastly, the interesting link that paranoid schizophrenia has with Christianity will be fully explained.

To explore the diagnosis of Paranoid Schizophrenia
To highlight treatment options that are effective in the treatment of Paranoid Schizophrenia
To develop an appreciation of the value of the locus of evaluation in the treatment of Paranoid Schizophrenia
To examine the meaning of ‘inner demons’ and the value of acceptance
To explore the predisposing factors that may contribute to a diagnosis of Paranoid Schizophrenia.
To examine interventions that improves quality of life
About the facilitator
The event will be delivered by Andy Gray, who is a BABCP Accredited CB Psychotherapist, Academic Director and Clinical Supervisor. Andy specialises in the treatment of personality disorder and has worked with Paranoid Schizophrenia in both private practice and in a clinical setting. Andy is keen to impart information and share knowledge to encourage fellow practitioners to work with more complex cases.
How much?
£60 if paid in advance or £65 at the door.
Refreshments, snacks, handouts and CPD certificate are included in the price.
